Kwamena is a Freight Forwarder by profession with exceptional design skills and a passion for re-visiting second hand clothes from Kantamanto, Ghana - the largest thrift market in West Africa.

As the Chair of THE REVIVAL’s Board of Advisors, Sissi’s expertise and experience living in no less than 8 countries is pivotal in raising global awareness beyond Ghana, build strategic partnerships and scale our operations.
Sissi holds a MBA in Fashion Business (POLIMODA, Italy) and is a Certified Adaptation Practitioner in Climate Change & Health by the Yale School of Public Health.
Her interdisciplinary body of work has been covered by Vogue, The Guardian, Forbes, Wired, L’Officiel, The Huffington Post, CNN, MTV, etc.
Maya Penn

Maya Penn is a 20 year old award-winning environmental activist, founder and CEO of eco-fashion brand Maya’s Ideas which she started in 2008 at just 8 years old. She is a 3 time TED Speaker, artist, global activist, animator, designer, filmmaker, sustainability consultant and author. She has been an active change maker and advocate for sustainability, environmental justice, and activism through art for 12 years. At age 16 Maya received a commendation from President Barack Obama for outstanding achievement in environmental stewardship. She has been featured in Forbes, TIME, The View, CNN, Grist, NPR, Vice, Marie Claire, Teen Vogue, Nylon, Essence, and more. Maya founded nonprofit organization Maya's Ideas 4 The Planet in 2011, and started an ongoing project where she has designed, created and shipped eco-friendly sanitary pads to women and girls in healthcare facilities in Haiti, Senegal, Somalia, and Cameroon. Maya’s book “You Got This!” (Published by Simon & Schuster) is being used in schools around the world as curriculum to teach youth social entrepreneurship, activism and giving back, and more. Maya is also an artist and animator, and in 2016 during the Obama Administration, Maya made history when she was commissioned to produce, animate, and narrate the opening of the first ever digital report presented to Congress. The report was created to get an American Museum of Women’s History built in Washington, DC. Maya was awarded the Coretta Scott King A.N.G.E.L. Award, as well as honored at the SCLC Drum Major for Justice Awards. She has also been hand chosen by Oprah Winfrey as her youngest Supersoul 100 entrepreneur, change maker, and thought leader. Maya studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and she is also utilizing biofabrication, material science, and biomimicry in her work in sustainable fashion.

I am an anthropologist and communications professional with six years' global experience studying and working in Paris, Hong Kong, London and Bergen. I'm an interdisciplinary researcher with special interest in the digital, design, consumption and climate change. Portfolio includes project research, coordination and business development that spans New York, Florence & London. My co-written Huffington Post article "Pewdiepie or Why Brands Should Put Influencer Marketing on Pause" was included in the New York University graduate school business curriculum. Got a way with words: I write a monthly climate column for Screen Shot Magazine, too. I speak French and Norwegian.
